This course is for
In cooperation with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, eTeacher is now offering academic courses for 3 credit points. Courses are taught online by Biblical Hebrew teachers from the Hebrew university.Duration
The course, in its academic format, will allow the student to study Three credit points at this level (Beginners):
| One unit containing 30 lessons (55 min) + oral exam will afford students Three credit points. |
Course structure and goals
The classes focus on reading the Hebrew Bible in its original language. During the course students learn the Hebrew alphabet and vowels, become familiar with the basic paradigms of Hebrew nouns and verbs and acquire 450 common Biblical Hebrew words. The grammatical topics are learned within the framework of famous biblical stories. The class meets once a week, and the students must complete homework assignments sent by the teacher after every meeting.
At the end of the course the student will

| know how to read and pronounce the Biblical Hebrew letters and vowels. | |
| know the basic paradigms of nouns and verbs. | |
| know some basic syntactical features of the Biblical Hebrew. | |

Academic Credit and Academic course requirements
In accordance with the University's academic requirements the program includes obligatory attendance, paper submissions and examinations and will award students 3 credit points. At the end of the course the Hebrew University will accredit its graduates with 3 credit points and will send each graduate a completion certificate with his/her course grades.
