A Few Words About Me
I live with my family in the most unique city in the world - Jerusalem. As my parents were originally from Argentina, I grew up with an awareness of the difficulties inherent in acquiring a second language. I was therefore thrilled at the prospect of teaching Hebrew at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Since then, I have taught Hebrew in different venues to immigrants and foreign students alike and have also taken part in training teachers. In the early days of Perestroika, I taught Hebrew to prospective immigrants in Moscow; in Utah, the other side of the world, I taught the language to Mormon and Jewish students. The Hebrew University Academy of Sciences sent me as its delegate to Beijin two months before the onset of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
