A Few Words About Me

I live in Kibbutz Kfar Hanasi near Rosh Pina in the North Galilee. In winnter, my window overlooks the snowy peaks of Mount Hermon. To the East is the Golan and to the West - the beautiful and verdrant Hula Valley. I am married and a mother of 4 grown-up children. In the last 19 years I have taught Hebrew to New immigrants and to tourists in the Kibbutz Ulpan and since 2002 I have worked in absorption centers for immigrants from Ethiopia in Zfat and in Ayelet Hashachar. I love teaching Hebrew and view the teaching of language as the primary means of introducing the culture and traditions of Israeli society. It is because of this that, in teaching Hebrew, I include materials about the country, Jewish History, holidays and so forth. To my delight, I've found that our graduates have later gone on to favourably represent Israel around the world.
