A Few Words About Me
Hebrew for me is the way to Jewish traditional and modern culture. I began to teach Hebrew in 1985, the first 3 years in the underground organization in Leningrad. After our aliya in 1988 I taught both in Israel and sometimes in the former Soviet Union where I was an emissary. I’m a linguist and a teacher. As a linguist, I believe that each language has its own unique view of reality, and as a teacher I know that each student has his own unique way to acquire knowledge.
I live in Kiryat Arba and it is a special pleasure for me to live in the town that is mentioned in the first book “Bereshit” in the Bible.
I like classical music, Jewish medieval poetry (“piyutim”) and bicycling.
