A Few Words About Me
Nechama Parker chose to study linguistics as a result of her life-long fascination with the phenomenon of language. During her studies she had the opportunity to learn many different languages, and chose to focus on Semitic languages. Nechama is about to complete her MA studies in Hebrew language. She feels lucky to have been able to share her passion for language with students.
Nechama has been teaching various levels of Modern Hebrew at the School for Overseas Students at the Hebrew University. Nechama was also a teaching assistant for various courses in Hebrew and Aramaic at the Hebrew Language department, and has been teaching courses in academic reading comprehension and writing skills in the Pre-academic School of the Hebrew University.
