A Few Words About Me

I fell in love with biblical literature during my undergraduate career at York University in Toronto, ON, from where I graduated with a BA (Honours) in Creative Writing and Religious Studies. Judges 4 and 5 caught my attention and sparked my desire to continue in academia. Currently, I’m in the midst of working on a Creative and Multi-Media Masters thesis focusing on these two biblical chapters in the Interdisciplinary Studies Programme, also at York University. To enhance my knowledge and my research for my thesis, I participated in an archaeological dig at Tel Hazor in July 2008 then spent a year as a Visiting Graduate at the Rothberg International School of Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Biblical Hebrew quickly became a passion that has helped me broaden and more deeply understand the texts and it is this passion that I look forward to sharing with my students. Plus, Biblical Hebrew is fun!
