This lesson is a fascinating journey into the evolvement of the Hebrew vowels.
We will learn that in King David's period (10th c. B.C.E.), when Hebrew was first written, the writers only used the consonants. This created difficulties for readers in those days. The solution to the problem was the addition of vowel letters, a process which unfolded in several stages. The last stage took place in one of the most beautiful places in Israel, near the Sea of Galilee.
