Graffiti in the Bible?
Belshazzar was the prince of Babylon in the 6 century BC. He is mentioned several times in the Bible in the book of Daniel.
In chapter 5 in the book of Daniel, Belshazzar is having a feast. Belshazzar instructs his servants to bring the sacred vessels and the goblets of Solomon's Temple to use them in this celebration and also to drink from the goblets to praise their gods.
Suddenly a finger of a human hand appears and writes those words on the wall:
מְנֵ֥א מְנֵ֖א תְּקֵ֥ל וּפַרְסִֽין
Daniel is called to the palace and Daniel explains the writing that God has numbered the king’s days.
